Updated Costs

Cost increases are continuing to be announced in our industry, below are the latest increases that have come to our attention over the past week:

LCL Port Charges:

As a result of ACFS, one of Australia’s largest logistics operators, appointing Administrators some 4 weeks ago, several LCL cargo consolidators have moved their packing/unpacking operations to alternative CFS operators in different states. Given the volume of cargo involved, this has led to additional resources and infrastructure required to be implemented in those alternative depots, with increased costs being passed on to consolidation operators.

Cargo consolidators have now announced they will be increasing their port charges by $ 10.00 per cbm/1000kgs effective from 14th September 2026. Unfortunately, we have no alternative but to pass on these additional costs to all clients.

LCL Booking Fees:

These fees continue to rise, they were first introduced to assist with the installation of new electronic infrastructure to allow trucks to flow freely through the facilities for drop offs and pick-ups but have now been turned into “cash cows” for the operators.

The Sydney depots have increased their rates dramatically and will now charge $ 75.00 per LCL booking from 14th September 2026.

As these are out of pocket expenses, we regret we will need to pass on these additional costs from the above date.
